Coconut oil or virgin coconut oil
I think I might have a clue because of the word virgin but I'm not sure...What is the difference between regular oil and extra virgin/virgin?
For the oil to be termed virgin or extra virgin means the oil was extracted by physical means such as a press, not chemical means. Extra virgin is the first press, and virgin is the second pressWhat is the difference between regular oil and extra virgin/virgin?
when olives are put into the press to produce oil the oil that comes out before pressing is considered virgin. Extra virgin is probably the very first of that oil. As the press squeezes the olives the regular oil is produced.
