Does a car having an oil leak gas you to have to spend more money on gas?

My mechanic stated that I had an oil leak. I've noticed that I run out of gas rather quickly. If I fill up within a few miles the dial starts to move way below the ';full'; mark. Is there any correlation?Does a car having an oil leak gas you to have to spend more money on gas?
if you have a oil leak, it won,t use gas, but a gas leak will. better get the gas leak fixed, it,s dangerous.Does a car having an oil leak gas you to have to spend more money on gas?
You have to ask yourself this question did it use extra gas befor you found out it had an oil leak? The obvious answer would be yes. oil leaks shouldn't have any effect of fuel consumption.Get you gas tank and line checked by a reputable mechanic.
Read your sentence over very carefully. It makes no sense at all. Try asking a question that means something.

Not b****ing, just need more clarification.
