Buy 6, u need to fill your filter at least half way with oil before replacing it, and you need at least 5 QT. to bring it to full. Not to pricey. Nice year for rangers as well. Also, if you use a synthetic blended motor oil, such as Mobil 1, you will get better protection, and longer time between changes. Regular oil needs to be changed every 3,000 miles, whereas Synthetic changes are not required until after 7,000 miles. You get added protection as well.
