When is Exxon is expected to pay the fishermen for the Alaska oil spill?

My family owns a commercial salmon fishing business and has been waiting for Exxon to come through. We need an update as far as when Exxon will pay. When is Exxon is expected to pay the fishermen for the Alaska oil spill?
It's going to be a while. On May 23, 2007, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied Exxon Mobil Corp.'s request for another hearing, letting stand its ruling that Exxon owes $2.5 billion in punitive damages. Exxon's only further option for appeal is the U.S. Supreme Court. Exxon has said it will make this final appeal. When is Exxon is expected to pay the fishermen for the Alaska oil spill?
Exxon is using the delay tactic. They plan to wait until all the principals die. They know that any payment, by law, can only go to the folks who were directly affected by the oil spill. It cannot go to their children or estate after they die.
